The Parvati River is the lifeblood of the valley — a glacially cold, strikingly blue river that flows from the high Himalayas down through Kasol, Manikaran, and into the Beas. Its banks are where campfires are lit, tents are pitched, and the best conversations happen.
The river’s color changes from milky white in monsoon to the most brilliant turquoise in winter. Its roar is the constant soundtrack to life in Kasol.

The river runs right through Kasol — it’s impossible to miss.
October to June for calm, clear turquoise water. Monsoon brings heavy current.
