Frequently Asked Questions
When is the best time for this trek?
May to June and September to November are ideal. Avoid July-August (heavy rains) and December-February (heavy snowfall, requires snow gear).
How fit do I need to be?
Good physical fitness essential. Prior high-altitude trekking experience strongly recommended. Ages 18+ only. We recommend 2-3 weeks of cardio training before the trek.
Is altitude sickness a concern?
For treks above 3000m, mild symptoms are possible. Our leaders are trained to identify and manage altitude sickness. Do not attempt if you have heart or respiratory conditions.
